The list of famous people from Monash University would not be complete without our Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng. I believe everyone knows who he is because we can always see posts about him on social media. Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng is a Malaysian politician who has been Chief Minister of Penang since 2008. He also served as the president of MUISS (Monash University International Student Society) during his university years.
2. Farah Ann Abdul Hadi
Farah Ann studies business and commerce in Monash University. But that’s not what she’s known for, she’s also a professional gymnast who brought back a gold medal during the SEA games 2015 at the age of 21! Kudos to this young girl who is working so hard to balance her student life with her profession. We Malaysians are definitely proud of her!

Raj Mahal is currently studying in Monash University which means you can still see him on campus grounds! He is really talented as an emcee and it brings him lots of emcee jobs in different events. He is famous among the Indian youngsters because he is an active YouTuber. He regularly posts funny videos on his YouTube channel and is currently starring in SkinTV’s Meeting With Machas.
4. Wang Jia Min
Jia Min is a chemical engineering student from Monash University who is bringing the Malaysian pride to the world stage. She was at the 5TH World Dodgeball Championship 2016 which took place in Melbourne, Australia! She secured the first Gold for Malaysia against Canada. We are so proud of you! Malaysia boleh!
5. Josiah Khong
Josiah is a young entrepreneur and a part time model. He has been familiar with his fame since when he was still in campus. He’s got 12k followers on his Instagram account and recently just participated in a local Chinese show, Call Me Handsome (叫我男神). Anyone watched this show before? Trust me; you have to watch this show!
