Whether it’s the exams season, or just any other day in the uni campus – life hacks just save so much time and money! You might be studying in Malaysia, but trust me – these hacks are world-class. Tried and tested by your seniors (means: myself and my friends)!
Only 1 microwave, but 2 hungry friends?
[expander_maker more=”Read more” less=”Read less”]

Ok lah, this one very easy. Open the microwave. Put a mug there. Put one bowl/plate on the mug, the other one in a typical position. And that’s how you heat 2 meals at the same time, even bigger portions!
Looking for examples of exam questions for the upcoming test?

Google “site:edu [subject] exam” to find many different college exams featuring problems pertaining to that subject. You’ll find lots of examples, from all around the world! Or turn [subject] into a particular query, ex [geometry].
Here’s the ultimate way to wake up in the morning

You’ll never miss a morning class again. promise! Take: 1 glass (not plastic, an actual glass) and your phone. Set the phone on loudest alarm. Once it rings, the glass will increase the sound (it will blast like crazy, really!) and additionally, you’ll get the loud vibrations of the glass on the table. IMPORTANT: don’t put the glass too close to the table edge!
Be smart with your study breaks!

In case you haven’t heard, it’s been scientifically proven that you study most efficiently if you break your memorising sessions into 25-minutes blocks (it’s a so-called “Pomodoro” technique). And take a 5-minutes break in between. Break, meaning: stand up! Don’t just open Facebook. Walk around, go make yourself a maggi or kopi, and come back in 5 minutes. Sitting in the same position and browsing Instagram on your phone won’t be a very efficient kind of break.
Mega-hack for morning rush!

Decrease the amount of time spent on browsing your clothes and deciding what to wear. If you have a wardrobe, just put all of your clothes vertically inside it – you’ll see all the options right away. No more digging in the huge lump of clothes in the morning!
Organising a home party, but your friend forgot to bring the speaker?

As long as you find an empty toilet paper roll, you’re covered. Make a small hole in it, put your phone in and make sure it’s set in a standing position (use sticky tape or whatever else is available). And… let the magic happen! Maybe not perfectly as good as a speaker, but definitely better than just using the phone itself!
Attach a phone in your Myvi easily, with an elastic band

Maybe it’s not perfect… But it does a job whenever you need to Waze somewhere!
Cook yourself a yummy maggi spaghetti
You will need:
- maggi
- microwave
- spaghetti sauce (in a jar)
Make your maggi, but leave out the flavor packet. Then add pasta sauce. Voila.
Variation: If you’re feeling fancy, add ayam goreng from the mamak nearby.
