#PWYC: LiveIn Assist Rent-Relief Program

We have initiated LiveIn Assist Rent-Relief Program; offering #PWYC (Pay What You Can) scheme for accommodation and rent-relief assistance. After receiving an overwhelming response for assistance, and with the good graces of many of our landlord partners, are able to assist those who truly need this to survive in the next few months.

We understand the hardship faced by many of our tenants who are caught between a rock and a hard place during these times and would like to do our part to help people ride this ordeal out.

1. What is LiveIn Assist Rent-Relief Program about?
This initiative was created to assist existing and new tenants with their accommodation arrangements during this period. For existing tenants, this will not change any part of the tenancy agreement but will offer some form of discount in your monthly rental which is determined on a month-to-month basis. The discounted amount, if approved, will differ on a case-by-case basis.
New tenants will be contacted if an application is successful as we will do our best to find a suitable accommodation somewhere around the Klang Valley (our rooms are at limited to a few areas within the radius) at a nominal rental which will be determined on a month-to-month basis.
This is NOT an automatic discounting, and affected tenants need to approach LiveIn to apply for this rent relief. Decision for each application will be at management’s absolute discretion.
2. Who is entitled for LiveIn Assist Rent-Relief Program?
It is open to all existing tenants and new customers who are financially affected by Covid-19 or MCO. Existing tenants must ensure that they have no outstanding payments owed to LiveIn and all past payments have been fully settled.
Affected tenants would need to submit any of the relevant documents below:
  • Employer’s letter of salary reduction / termination / retrenchment
  • Letter of closure of non-essential businesses
  • Any other relevant proof or documents
Decision for each application will be at management’s absolute discretion.
3. How do I apply?
You can apply by going to bit.ly/LiveInAssistForm to submit your application. Please ensure you attach the necessary supporting document prior to submission. This initiative is available till the end of the Movement Control Order (MCO); ending 12th May 2020.
If you know someone who may need a place to stay or rent-relief for a certain period, help them by sharing this post so that they can get the assistance they need. Let’s help each other out.rrp_edm_03
