KDU University College or better known as KDU, is a private education institution in Malaysia. Formerly known as Kolej Damansara Utama, KDU has 3 campuses, which are at Damansara Jaya, Glenmarie Shah Alam and Penang, offering programmes at most tertiary levels, like Certificate, Diploma, Degree and Masters level.

Pelangi Utama
Located in the affluent neighbourhood of Bandar Utama, students will find living here very convenient due to the wide variety of amenities and places of interest in close proximity.
Aside from the neighbourhood enclaves that have many shoplots in the area, there are prominent, popular shopping malls for the students to shop and hang out at, such as One Utama, Ikano Power Centre and the Curve, which are all within walking distance from each other. IKEA is also situated in the same vicinity.
On days that students don’t feel like going out, there are many great facilities provided by Pelangi Utama such as a swimming pool, gymnasium and cafeteria (students are always hungry, right?)
The new MRT station shall be located nearby the condominium within Bandar Utama (about 700m away), adds to the convenience for students, especially. Nearby institution includes KDU University College and First City University.
Room rates are RM750 for a medium room and RM 920 for a master room.
Section 17, Landed House
Section 17 housing area is located in the neighbourhood of Petaling Jaya and it takes about 15 – 20 minutes driving distance to reach Kuala Lumpur city area. The neighbourhood has a morning market during the daytime, which transforms into a roadside hawker center at night. Students renting a room here need not worry about finding food or paying extravagant prices for it.
The student accommodations have been recently painted and renovated, giving the students a cozy space to call their own. The peaceful environment and great surroundings would be greatly appreciated as well, especially during study time!
The nearest shopping mall to section 17 would be Tropicana City Mall and there are also numerous universities nearby such as KDU University College, Universiti Malaya (UM) and University Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR). These universities are less than 15 minutes driving distance from section 17.
Room rates start from RM 900 – RM 1100 depending on the room size.
BU 1/14 Landed House
Bandar Utama 1/14 is located in the ever-developing Bandar Utama neighbourhood. It is easy accessible via two main highways, the Lebuhraya Damansara Puchong (LDP) and New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE).
Students staying here will have fun hanging out after class at any of the well-known shopping malls located nearby such as Ikano Power Centre and One Utama shopping complex. However if students don’t really want to deal with the huge crowds there, they may opt to go to Centrepoint Bandar Utama to purchase whatever they may need, the complex is well-fitted with all the necessities and basic services such as a grocer, a hair salon, local hawkers, a book cum stationary shop, music school, pharmacy, clinic, bank, cafes, bars and restaurants, etc.
There are 3 rooms in the house, which are the master bedroom and 2 middle-sized rooms. Bonus features for this house include weekly housekeeping and WiFi, which is included in the rental. Washing machine and hot water dispenser are also provided.
Students from KDU and First City should check out this accommodation because its only 8 minutes driving distance to KDU and 10 minutes walking distance to First City University.

Terrace Townhouse
Students that prefer more privacy should check out the terrace townhouses in in Section 17, which is about 10 minutes driving distance away from the commercial hub of Petaling Jaya. KDU University College is a 12-minute drive away.
Students staying here will find transportation pretty easy because the neighbourhood has an extensive transportation system that goes around town regularly and connects to the major transport hubs such as KL Sentral in the event they need to venture out further.
The unit includes air conditioning and WiFi as well, which makes a great environment for students to study. There is also a microwave and induction cooker included in the unit where students can indulge in simple cooking.
